Care tips
Our care recommendations for everyday use:
- Clean the watch with a soft, dry cloth. Only use cleaning products expressly permitted by the model instructions.
- Store in a dry place and protect from impacts, perfume, cosmetics and harsh chemicals.
- Keep leather and textile straps dry where possible. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions for metal, silicone and rubber straps.
- BOSS advises keeping leather away from water and perfume. Wipe silicone and rubber straps with a soft cloth dampened with fresh water. Avoid strong magnetic fields and have the case opened only by authorised service.

Water resistance
Check the caseback and the instructions for your exact model. Water resistance does not automatically make a watch suitable for every water activity.
- Metres, bar and ATM indicate a pressure test, not a permitted diving depth. They do not replace the manufacturer’s usage instructions.
- BOSS states that resistance applies to the case, not the strap. Do not operate crowns or pushers while wet or underwater; keep a screw-down crown closed and avoid sudden temperature changes. Have resistance checked after a heavy impact.
- Ageing or damaged seals can reduce water resistance. Have it professionally checked after heavy impacts, repairs or battery replacement before exposing the watch to water again.
