Water resistance
Check the caseback and the instructions for your exact model. Water resistance does not automatically make a watch suitable for every water activity.
- Metres, bar and ATM indicate a pressure test, not a permitted diving depth. They do not replace the manufacturer’s usage instructions.
- Diesel requires a closed crown or a tightened screw-down crown. Do not operate crowns or pushers in water. Avoid hot water, saunas, steam and forceful water jets. Swimming suitability depends on the model instructions and rating.
- Ageing or damaged seals can reduce water resistance. Have it professionally checked after heavy impacts, repairs or battery replacement before exposing the watch to water again.
